Summer Knitting - A Pattern Round Up

As summer is finally here, I am looking forward to starting some summer projects to accompany me while I sit in the sunshine. Delighted to work with LoveCrafts on their Big July Sale which has just launched. Here are my picks from the sale along with the projects I plan to make with them.
THE PERFECT SHAWL
My first pick is three skeins of The Yarn Collective Rivoli Sport in Leonardo Beige. This yarn is a beautiful blend of merino, alpaca and silk making it a super soft and lustrous yarn with good drape. This is perfect for a shawl and I’ve got my eye on the Laila Shawl by Sari Nordlund.
A BOBBLE JUMPER
I’ve wanted to knit a bobble jumper for a long time so my next pick is Paintbox Yarns 100% Wool Worsted in Vanilla Cream. My pattern of choice is Arbusto by Rosa Pomar and I already can’t wait to finish making this to be able to throw it on when the temperature drops in the evenings.
A PAIR OF SOCKS
I couldn’t resist adding in this Vincent Yellow skein of The Yarn Collective Rivoli Sport for a cheerful pair of socks. I’ve chosen the Canola Socks by Maude L. Baril as these requires just one skein of yarn. I always like to have some socks on the go to pick up whenever there is a moment for knitting and this pattern’s simple stitch pattern won me over and I like the mid-calf length.
A MACRAME PEACH
Finally, I’m a little bit obsessed with peach illustrations and am desperate to try and create a macrame wall decor version, so I picked up some Paintbox Yarns Cotton DK in Melon Sorbet; the exact peachy shade I was looking for with Pistachio Green for the leaf. Some Paintbox Yarns Cotton Aran in Vanilla Cream will form the base. This will be a bit of an experiment but watch this space as I hope to share the results here in a few weeks time.
